Discipleship in Action: Youth Ministry
Discipleship Minute: Catechists Ministry
Even during COVID restrictions, our faith formation has continued — online, outdoors, and in-person as appropriate. Kim Keenan enjoys giving teens a safe and comfortable place to be themselves and grow in Christ together. Jasmine Keenan helps children have a better understanding of their faith and bringing them closer to Jesus. Both enjoy the purpose the ministry gives them.
Students in 9th through 12th Grade have many areas to grow in their faith at All Saints Catholic Church through catechesis, service and social opportunities, which help promote Catholic identity and foster personal and spiritual growth. Many of our youth are involved in the various ministries our parish has to offer along with service opportunities within our community. We are called to serve others with our time, talents and gifts. Our youth assist in preparing food for the local Community Holiday Assistance Program provide by local area churches.
“What is needed today is a church which knows how to respond to the expectations of young people. Jesus wants to enter into dialogue with them and, through his body, which is the church, to propose the possibility of choice, which will require a commitment of their lives.” (Pope John Paul II, World Youth Day 1995, Philippines)
